Ooh, you're getting a kindle? Let me know if it's really as cool as it seems. I may need to step up campaign to get one for Christmas this year. My family seemed to all think I was kidding when I said I'd be perfectly satisfied if they all went in together and I got only that for Christmas this last year. Of course, they all think reading some weird interest that no one but me actually enjoys it, and therefore they don't understand the beauty of a kindle...

Thanks and my family is going to hate you for encouraging this...but really can carry hundreds of books around at once...ooh and apparently some of my text books are available...

If you can't talk them into chipping in and buying you a Kindle, then start telling them that all you want is Amazon gift certificates.

Then, once you have enough, you use them to buy a Kindle. :-)
