Foodieness
Mar. 27th, 2010 08:33 pmTonight's dinner was a slightly enhanced version of this ham casserole. I added a little bit of basil, a bit of garlic powder, and probably doubled the amount of milk (I didn't measure any of these changes.)
I served it with a bottle of Apple Mystique wine from King Ferry Winery, which went with it very well.
I'm trying to think of ways to enhance the casserole even more. I came up with adding fresh mushrooms, and Tom thinks either corn or peas or both would work. Anyone else have any ideas?
