Candy Ideas For New Years

The last several years, I've brought a big box of chocolates from Krause's to the Harmony Drive New Years Party.

This year I kind of want to try something different: bringing my own, homemade candy.

Here's a list of some of the recipes I've found. Do any sound especially good to you guys? Do you have recipes I haven't found yet that I need to try?

Also, let me know if any of the links are broken. One thing I don't like about Pinterest is that links sometimes randomly stop working.

Candy buttons! Squeee! Grandma Lupa used to let me take the returnable milk bottles to the corner store and get candy with the nickels. I usually got those. <---- May be only "GenX", but is, in fact, old. :)

But actually, they all look pretty darned tasty.

The candy buttons look really easy to make, too. I think I'll make them even if I don't make any others.

I think the kids would totally dig the Harry Potter wands. The apple pie cookies look of the yum (I may try them for thanksgiving) and in particular the bacon nougetty ones on the bottom look really good!

I'm sure they'd love them, but the wands might be more work than I'm up for.

The bacon candy bars seem like a good choice. Everybody likes maple and bacon!
