One Half Buddhist, One Half Christian, One Half Pagan

1) My iPod is playing me music again! I didn't change anything, but I don't know if Tom changed anything on the music server or if it just had a change of heart.

2) I really need to get (or make) a good pair of fingerless gloves. I'm wearing an improvised pair as part of my Halloween costume, and am amazed at what a difference they're making. If anybody knows a really simple knitting pattern for some, send me the link.

3) Friday night I made this dish for dinner. It was... a little on the bland side. That might have been because I used the wrong type of mustard, or because I used more stock than I should have. I'll do some tweaking before I make it again. (Thanks to shadesong for originally posting the link to the recipe.)

Both my iPod and my phone are still sitting on my desk at home, plugged into their chargers.

My iPod has been in a very Beatles mood for the last few days. Literally every third song has been either from their catalog or from one of their solo careers. This pleases me.

It also is refusing to load my "this hasn't played for a long time" playlist. This displeases me.

I managed to forget my iPod at home.

I'm also not feeling all that well, with GI troubles and a sore throat.

My iPod has played "Don't Worry, Be Happy" twice today. Maybe it's trying to tell me something...

Apparently my iPod is in a hedonistic mood today. It's played half the soundtrack from Hair, quite a few of the Beatles more psychedelic tracks, and most recently Alan Jackson's song "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere."

I think it's a sign.

Body: My left hip is a little achy, but with the weather warming up I seem to be having fewer problems.

Reading: Still working on Ilium.

Etsy find: Hand Dyed Silk Velvet Fat Quarter - I have no idea what I'd do with it, but it's so pretty I'm sure I'd come up with something.

Tonight's Project: Dishes and dinner and I'm not sure what else.

Randomness: I'm getting really annoyed with my iPod. It won't load all of my music (only 1400-odd of the 9900ish songs I have), and it won't put music in my playlists. I have several playlists that have 500+ songs in them in iTunes, but on my iPod they have 50 or fewer. It makes trying to listen to music more annoying than it should be with an iPod.

My new iPod arrived today! Yay! Hopefully this will keep me from going crazy at work.
