If you guessed at home in my nightstand, you win!

Even though I'm feeling better, this cold is still eating my brain.

Both my iPod and my phone are still sitting on my desk at home, plugged into their chargers.

My phone seems to have forgotten that it's supposed to be able to talk to the internet. This is only a minor annoyance right now, but given that I'm going to be away from home for large parts of the weekend it will get more annoying.

I hope I just accidentally changed a setting somewhere and it will go back to normal as soon as I put it back.

- I overslept by a tiny bit. Not enough that I was late, but enough that I had to rush.
- My right knee screamed at me when I went down the stairs from the apartment.
- The idiot quotient on the road seemed much higher than usual.
- The parking lot of the gas station was full of crazily parked delivery trucks, making getting in and out... interesting.
- An icepick headache hit just as I pulled into the office's parking lot.
- When I went to turn off the ringer on my cell phone for the day I discovered that I left it at home.

I have a feeling it's going to be a long day.

My phone has managed to eat up a full charge since 12:00 last night. This annoys me. I think I need to get the app that Tom found that tracks the phones power usage.

Body: I'm definetly sick. I'm coughing up gack, and my ears hurt. Hopefully it doesn't turn into an ear infection. I hate those. Also my shoulders hurt for no reason that I can figure out.

Reading: I'm still re-reading The Merry Gentry Series by Laurell K. Hamilton.

Hearing: A few random podcasts, including the most recent of Dan Carlin's Hardcore Histories, and now music. (Let me know if the link doesn't work. I can't actually go to the site because work blocks it.)

Etsy Find: A perfume bottle shaped like an old-fashioned Inkwell

Project Follow-up: The Ratatullie from a couple days ago turned out pretty good. Tom actually ended up doing most of the work. I didn't start a new knitting project.

Tonight's Project: My projects for the whole weekend are to finish transfering my contacts from my old cell phone into my new smart phone, and to filter and sweeten both the blueberry and plum cordials.

Randomness: Some cool stuff in the region in the next month: The Brimfield Antiques Show, Crafts At Rhinebeck, The Big E!, NYS Sheep & Wool Festival. Anybody going to any of them? Any that I missed?

Lately my cell phone has started spontaneously turning itself off, so if you call and get my voice mail and I haven't called back within a reasonable amount of time either email me or try calling again.

Also, as I've said before, email is almost always the best way to get in touch with me.

And the new cell phone is good to go!

Same number, but now it's AT&T. Verizon lost my business mostly over customer service issues.

I'm in the process of switching from Verizon to AT&T. There seem to be some complications, so my cell may not be a reliable way of getting in touch with me for a couple of days.

When everything is resolved it should be the same phone number.
